Emma's eating!!

Date night...Peter took me to see Romeo and Juliet in Aberdeen on Friday. We went of for dinner, and then on to the theatre...it was the first time we have left Emma for any real length of time...it was hard, but not too bad. It was so fun and really nice to have some time with Peter. It was also great to see the big smile on Emma's face when we saw her the next morning!

Emma has started eating! We started her on porridge and she loves it! She is such a good eater, and loves chewing on her spoon. It has been so fun, and of course we get to use her fun bibs!!! Peter loves the All American one...

Emma outside!

Emma does like to be outside...she gets that from Peter! We took her on a hike the other day and we watched Peter do some climbing...it was fun, and Emma enjoyed until she filled her pants!

In the garden, with her new hat! It has been so sunny this spring...unusual for Scotland! We have enjoyed walking in the garden with Emma...

Some older Emma pics!

Emma is sitting up more and more...she can't sit by herself, but she loves to pull herself up...what a cutie!

More Emma!

We have had some sun!!! And little Emma has a super cute summer hat. We have a balcony that gets full sun, and it is so nice to sit out there and get some sunshine...I might actually get a tan!

Cutie Emma! She is so funny, one day when she was napping, I checked on her and she had kicked her sheet off, and stuck her toes through the blanket! So funny!!

Preparing to walk around...hands free!

Trip out!

This is the Duff House in Banff...we took Emma on a day out...we have had such brilliant weather, so we went for a picnic and a long walk on the coast...it was great fun!
Emma was not too impressed with the house, but did seem to like the trees...and she did enjoy the walk and the drive! Plus at the end, Mommy and Daddy got Ben and Jerry's ice cream on sale! Yummy!!!

Some Special outfits...

This little outfit is one I wore in my three month picture...It is not really warm enough for this weather, but I did want a picture of Emma in it...My mum brought them over when she came..it was so sweet to see Emma, and hard to believe I was ever that small!!!

This dress is one worn by me and my mom, so this is the third generation to wear it...again, not warm enough to wear this out, but she is oh so sweet...but we did learn that she likes to show off her legs by pulling up her dress. Hopefully she will grow out of this habit by the time she goes to Kindergarten!
I could not resist this funny picture...Emma makes the funniest faces!

Emma at three months...

I am a little slow, but these were taken the day Emma was three months old...time gets away from me alot these days. She has changed even from these pics. I will post more tomorrow or later today with more recent pics...she is such a joy...

Our trip to the Netherlands

We got to spend some time in Holland recently, visiting with Peter's family. His sister Karen was there as well as his brother Edwin and his family (Flora his wife, and Nathan and Rebecca-his very cute kids). It was great to have a week away and to share Emma with the family. The kids were so sweet with Emma and you can see Nathan giving her a sweet kiss!
This is everyone of the family...Karen, Me holding Emma, Peter and Edwin holding Nathan sitting on the couch, with Rebecca and Flora in the front!
The three kids...it took a bit to get this picture...a four year old, a two year old and a 3 month old...interesting!
Me and the kids...it was great when Nathan corrected my Dutch! That did wonders for my ego!
Our friend Lynn came to visit...She had seen me pregnant in December, so it was fun to show her what come from that big bump!

These are all the great-grand kids from Oma and Opa Drop...

Party Dress

This is just a funny pic of Emma in her car seat...she always falls asleep in the car and hates her hat with a passion...this is why! I can never get her hats to stay up on her head, they always fall in her face and cover her eyes...on this trip, she did not mind so much.
This is Emma's party dress...she is so cute in it! This is actually her only pink dress, and she is almost grown out of it! I just love the matching tights...
Well, we started using cloth diapers...It has been a very interesting time, but I think we have the hang of it. We use disposables at night, since she is sleeping through the night and we did not want to have to get up because of a soggy cloth diaper. Funny thing though, when I washed the first batch, I accidentally left a blue sock in the washer, and so now alot of her diapers are blue!!! too bad it was not a red sock!!!

Emma Talking

Here is Emma's latest thing...
