Three favourite pictures

This is the Blairmore House. It snowed a bit, but did not stay long. I keep praying for a huge snowfall, but other here pray for no snow!!! We live in a room on the third floor, obviously old servent quarters. The three flights of stairs are tiny!

They are planning an addition, where there will be more classrooms and a nice dining room/serving facility in the back.

This is a beautiful rainbow
I saw in my first weeks here...

This is a ruin about 20 minutes walking from
where we live. It is really cool to explore around this area, as there are different rooms, different levels and different buildings.

It is situted on a hill, so that you can see the snow covered mountains in the distance. Beautiful!

I love the rainbow picture! :-) I remember a versus somewhere in Genesis that God made rainbows to remind us/Him of the covenant He made between man and God. Very cool. I think of that every time I see one.

I was a pupil at Blairmore School in the 80s/90s - five of the happiest years of my life.
From your photos and the description, I would say that your flat is in fact the Headmaster's flat. It was known as "The Crow's Nest" and was I think a loft conversion around 1990 or so. Quite cramped considering Mr Keith the headmaster was over six feet. Of course, as a pupil I would agree that the Headmaster was our servant...
Very interesting to see our beloved school in its new guise.
